Boss Battle Guide for Malboro
The Malboro is a boss that can be encountered in Mushroom Forest. It is a huge plant-like creature with a large mouth lined with sharp teeth. It has many limbs that protrude below its large head.

Malboro Attacks and Moves

| Regular Attack | The Malboro’s normal attack consists of its vines burrowing on one side of the field and then resurfaces on the opposite side. |
| Bad Breath Attack | The Malboro’s signature attack. The boss prepares by leaning its head back and then expels a foul stench. |
| Blizzard or Blizzaga | The Malboro unleashes a strong ice elemental spell. The level of the spell depends on the cycle. |
| Slow or Slowga | The Malboro has access to time magic to slow you down. |
Malboro Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Defeat the mobs
Similar to Goblin King will have minions that interfere during the fight. Before anything else, clear the area of mobs before taking on the boss.
Interrupt the boss’ cast
When the boss takes time absorb using its mouth, go all out with physical attacks and spells especially fire elemental ones.
Use Fire Magic
Use fire magic to deal damage to the boss from a distance. You can also make use of focus attacks as an alternate projectile attack.
Dodge Bad Breath
After you notice the boss tilt its head back, take off to the other side of the boss area to evade it.
