Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition - Clavat Tribe

Overview

Strengths
  • Most well-balanced race in the game, making them good for solo and multiplayer
  • Impressive defense and magic
  • Only race that can equip Gaia Plate
Weaknesses
  • Not as good in physical attack and magic as Lilties and Yukes
Recommendation ★★★★

Clavats are the most balanced characters out of the four races, enjoying a good spread of stats to adapt to any situation in battle. They have impressive defense which are second only to Lilties while having very good magic power and casting time.

Clavats use swords in battle and and can equip shields as secondary armor. They are also the only race that can use the Gaia Plate which has the best defense stat in the game.

Multiplayer Guide

Support Magic Role

The versatility of Clavats allow them to fulfill almost any role in the party, though they do exceptionally well as secondary spellcasters alongside a Yuke ally. While Yukes should focus on bombarding enemies with powerful offensive magic like Holyra, Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga, Clavats can provide support and healing with spells like Curaga, Full-Life, and Haste.

For a good team that requires minimal healing, Clavats can turn to using damaging spells as well. You can also opt to cast debuffs such as Slow or Stop on enemies not resistant to them.

It should be noted that all of the Clavat’s exclusive accessories are geared for improving magic capabilities so it is highly recommended to fulfill a magic-based role alongside using physical attacks in battle.
