How to Get Orichalcum

What is Orichalcum?

Orichalcum is a valuable material used in crafting some of the strongest weapons and armor in the game. It can be obtained from various sources, including as drop from powerful monsters or as a reward in a mini game.

Monster Drop – Behemoths (Conall Curach)

Behemoths found in Conall Curach drop Orichalcum as well as Diamond Ore. Both of these materials are highly sought after for creating end-game equipment so it is worth taking the time to farm them in the area.

Note that Behemoths are very powerful monsters that can easily take you out in a few hits if you take them on unprepared. Having strong weapons and armor is recommended if you intend to farm them.

Monster Drop – Zu (Lynari Desert, Cycle 4+)

You can also far Zu (giant birds) that appear in Lynari Desert after cycle 3 to obtain Orichalcum. As with Behemoths, Zu are very strong monsters as well so be sure to have strong gear equipped before fighting them.

Leuda Mini Game Reward

You can play a jumping mini game with the children in Leuda if your character is a Selkie. You will receive a piece of Orichalcum by scoring at least 4,000 points in the mini game.

Equipment that Require Orichalcum

Weapons and armor crafted using Orichalcum are only bested by those made from Adamantite, a material only found in the post-game high-difficulty dungeons. This means that you should start upgrading your gear after clearing the main story.
