Reach the Water Hot Spot and Open the First Gate

1	Before starting your journey, make sure you already have a Mog that will help carry the chalice. This will make you focused more on fighting enemies and bosses.
2	Go east and you will see the west drawbridge. Drop the chalice from south panel and stand on the north panel to bring the half bridge down.
3	Move west and north. Defeat Goblin and Dark Hedgehog enemies you will encounter along the way.
4	Defeat the Goblin near the Water Hot Spot and acquire first gate key. Carry and drop it in the pedestal to open the first gate.
5	Don’t pass by the first gate gate yet and look for the 1st treasure chest (Cure Stone x1) located southeast of the Water Hot Spot.

Open the Second Gate and Reach the Wind Hot Spot

1	Pass through the first gate and see another Goblin holding the second gate key. Defeat it and place the key in the pedestal.
2	Before entering the second gate, go east and look for the 2nd treasure chest (Bronze Belt Design x1) nearby.
3	Go down the riverbanks and reach a new area with the Wind Hot Spot.
4	Go south and see the east drawbridge. Repeat the procedure in order to connect it to the west drawbridge.
5	Go to the northwest path and pass by the Wind Hot Spot. Keep on following the pathway until you reach a dead end. Examine the 3rd treasure chest (Silver Spectacles Artifact x1) located there.
6	Also, examine the left spot of the bluff to find a 3rd Moogle Nest. Go inside to acquire your Moogle Stamp #20.

Open the Third Gate

1	Return to the location of the second gate and enter it. Clear the area from enemies including Mus enemies.
2	Go to the northern uphill and examine the 4th treasure chest (Bronze Material x1). Then, go to the northeast end to find the 5th treasure chest (Novice Weapon Design x1).
3	Cross the broken bridge and grab the item from the 6th treasure chest (Raise Stone x1) located in a riverbank.
4	Go west and get the third gate key from a nearby enemy.
5	Opening the third gate will link you from your starting location so don’t go south.

Tips and Strategies

Acquire Moogle Stamp #20

Before leaving the River Belle Path, make sure to locate the third Moogle Nest. From the Wind Hot Spot’s location, go northeast and reach dead end. Examine the left side of the bluff to open a secret hole.

Giant Crab Boss Strategies

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:

Take out the mobs

The boss has an army of mu’s that can interfere during the fight. Dispose of them quickly since these enemies can slow you down with stun and prevent your nuker from completing his cast time.

Move around the field

The boss tends to slow you down using its bubble attack. While the projectile travels slowly, your best bet is to always be mobile. Avoid the bubbles to prevent the boss from gaining the opportunity to catch up with a powerful charged blast.

Use Fire magic

Spells like firaga are useful not only against the boss but also its minions. On top of striking the boss’ weakness, the elemental magic also weakens its physical defense which paves the way for blunt weapons to do more damage.

Avoid the front

When landing attacks, avoid approaching the boss from the front. The boss has a very fast attack that affects enemies that remain directly in front of it.

Close in right after it stops

After dodging the boss’ charged attack, punish it immediately by going after the side or back.
