Giant Crab Rematch Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Take out the mobs
The boss has an army of mu’s that can interfere during the fight. Dispose of them quickly since these enemies can slow you down with stun and prevent your nuker from completing his cast time.
Bubble attack can now inflict Stop
The boss tends to slow you down and inflict stop effect using its bubble attack. While the projectile travels slowly, your best bet is to always be mobile. Avoid the bubbles to prevent the boss from gaining the opportunity to catch up with a powerful charged blast.
Keep using Fire spells
Kepp using firaga are useful not only against the boss but also its minions. On top of striking the boss’ weakness, the elemental magic also weakens its physical defense which paves the way for blunt weapons to do more damage.
Avoid Thundaga attacks
After you break the arms of Giant Crab, it will begin casting Thundaga continuously. Make sure to equipment Thunder resistant equipment to reduce damage.
Keep moving
The boss still jumps around in order to hit your character. Keep moving around the arena to avoid getting hit.
