Money Farming Guide
Sell Unwanted Items
Selling unneeded items and materials found in dungeons is a good way to earn Gil as you go through the game’s main story. This is also a good way to make space for your inventory.
Farm and sell Oricalchum.
Behemoths in Conall Curach will occasionally drop the rare material Oricalchum which is used for crafting various end-game weapons, armor, and one of the best accessories. If you have already made the equipment you need, Orichalcum can be sold at high prices to earn large amounts of Gil.
Zu found in Lynari Desert past cycle 3 also drop the item. Note that Behemoths and Zus are quite powerful so it is recommended to equip strong weapons and armor if you intend to take them on.
Complete The Missing Princess sidequest in Alfitaria.
Upon beginning cycle 2, you can initiate a sidequest in Alfitaria that rewards 100,000 Gil. Talk to Knocfelna (Lilty with a mustache wearing black armor) in Alfitaria to begin your search for the runaway princess. The quest takes you across various locations which include Marr’s Pass, Jegon River, and the Fields of Fum.
