Selepation Cave Walkthrough

Selepation Cave – Southwest

1	Head west and pass by the 1st blocked gate while defeating enemies along the way.
2	Use Gravity spell to hit flying enemies such as Killer Bees
3	Reach the end the find the 1st treasure chest (Iron Shield Design x1).
4	Return to the locked gate and hit the two purple crystals at the same time in order to unlock it.
5	Pass by the gate and go northwest. Pick up the item from the 2nd treasure chest nearby (Mythril Sallet Design x1).
6	After that, continue moving north until you see another 2nd blocked gate. Hit the two purple crystals again.
7	Go north and until you reach the exit.

Selepation Cave – Northeast

1	Move northwest until you find an area with small ponds. Clear the area from enemies and look for the 3rd treasure chest (Drill Artifact x1) on a east corner.
2	Move southeast to find a Wind Hot Spot. Instead of going further northeast, return to where you started in the northeast.
3	From the northeast starting location, go southeast and follow a swirling pathway leading you to the middle area.

Selepation Cave – Center

1	Go southwest while defeating enemies such as Gigas.
2	Enter the lift together with your Moogle companion and it will go down automatically.
3	Clear the enemies below and examine the 4th treasure chest (Iron Armor Design x1) in the north. Return to the lift and go back to the top.
4	Go south and ignore the other two lifts for now. Use the short stairs and go uphill.
5	After defeating the enemies, examine the 5th treasure chest (Twisted Headband Artifact x1) and 6th treasure chest (Ring of Light x1).
6	Don’t leave the hill yet and use the stairs in the south to find the 15th Moogle Nest. Go inside the hole and acquire Moogle Stamp #17.
7	Leave the nest and go west. Go the northwest lift and descend to a lower area.

Acquire Moogle Stamp #17

Before leaving the the area, make sure to locate the fifteenth Moogle Nest. Enter the middle area of the cave and go uphill to find a hidden hole beside a wooden staircase.

Cave Worm Boss Strategies

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:

Defeat the mobs

Defeat the minions that litter the field. You need to ensure that no other enemies are around when you fight the boss.

Dodge sideways

The boss’ attacks mainly travel across a straight line. For example, if it is about to open its mouth, perform sidesteps to evade the attack.

Switch to ranged attacks

Use holy. If you opt to use thunder or ice spells, make sure to cycle which one to use depending on the enemy. The minions can be hit using ice while the boss can’t eat thunder magic. Ranged attacks come in handy after whittling down the boss since it helps you avoid running into it accidentally and taking big damage from its slam.
