[Grand Theft Auto V / GTA 5] Tips and Tricks: Vehicle Deathmatch

This article contains information about Vehicle Deathmatch Modes in Grand Theft Auto V [GTA 5]. It also contains some tips and tricks.

Tips and Tricks: Team Deathmatch

Vehicle Deathmatch is where players have to kill each other with vehicles. They use Rhinos or Buzzards to defeat one another. In this particular game mode, only two teams can fight in Vehicle Deathmatch. The player can choose either the Rhino or a Buzzard to fight using tanks. The guns have no recoil or ammo limit and players are allowed to shoot each other for as long as they survive.

Don’t ram

Attempting to ram may not work as the player will then have a clearer shot of the weak point of the Buzzard or the Rhino. Ramming may seem like a good idea in other games but there’s a reason why the player has a turret instead of hardened armor.

Anticipate the movement of the tanks

Anticipating the movement will not only confuse the enemy but give the player a big advantage in creating an ambush. As the players go around, the rounds may not travel as fast as those coming from regular guns. Hence, knowing the movement and timing the shots right can even land a proper head shot on the enemy.

Run for cover

Always use the cover as a shield. Even as a tank, the player can take massive damage from other enemies. This can be quite troublesome especially for those who think that the tank can sustain a lot of damage. While it can, it can only do so to a certain extent. Also, this shields the player from incoming head shots from the other vehicles.
