Ienzo in Kingdom Hearts 3

Ienzo appears in Kingdom Hearts 3 as an ally, likely still working on research to aid Sora and his friends. He mentions something involving the virtual world that Ansem the Wise created, saying that full data on Roxas would have been included during it’s construction.

Organization XIII’s Master of Illusions

Zexion, the Cloaked Schemer, is Organization XIII’s enigmatic master of deception. Among his most notable actions is to once again turn Riku against Sora, though he ultimately fails and is defeated. He retreats to Castle Oblivion, only to be absorbed by the Riku Replica accompanied by Axel when he arrives there.

Zexion uses a Lexicon called Book of Retribution in battle to copy the attacks of his enemies.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Zexion serves as one of Roxas’ mentors during the latter’s time as a member of Organization XIII. A scene where Axel reports to Saix that he had succeeded in eliminating both Zexion and Vexen was also shown in the game.

An illusion of Zexion appears during Xion’s nightmare on Destiny Islands. Roxas is seen on the island’s shore, he spotting a hooded Xion in the distance. The hooded figure turns out to be Zexion who taunts a young Riku in the nightmare.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Zexion’s human form Ienzo was one of the apprentices of Ansem the Wise. He assisted the researcher with his research on the darkness within hearts. Ienzo, alongside fellow apprentices Braig, Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Xehanort, began to conduct experiments using questionable methods, much to the disdain of their master. The apprentices then succeed in banishing Ansem to the Realm of Darkness, only to be betrayed by Xehanort who turned them into Nobodies.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance

Ienzo is brought back to his human self after the destruction of both his Heartless and Nobody, the same as his fellow apprentices. He agrees to help Lea find the other revived members of Organization XIII, beginning their search in Ansem’s study.
