Pumaag Nitae Shrine Walkthrough [The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild]

This article contains a guide on how to complete Pumaag Nitae Shrine.

Pumaag Nitae Shrine Walkthrough – A Minor Test of Strength

Pumaag Nitae shrine is in a tiny niche in the forest. If you see Bokoblins attacking a couple then, you’re on the right track. You can also tame a black horse around the area. After that, enter the shrine when you see its entrance against the mountain.

Once inside, you’ll find yourself in the middle of an empty room. Inside the room, you’ll find columns. This only means one thing – it’s going to be a combat trial. Step deeper into the room and you’ll find yourself pit against a Guardian Scout II.

If you’ve gone through the Chaas Qeta shrine, it’s similar. Wait  for the Guardian to jump away and prepare a spin-attack. When it comes charging wildly with all its weapons spinning, hide behind the pillar. This stuns it and gives you time to attack.

Fortunately, the main difference between Chaas Qeta and here is that you don’t get killed easy.  If you want a quick and easy kill, you can also try using ice-weapons to freeze it. After freezing it, attack it with your strongest weapon. Combo it down and breaking the ice deals triple damage. If  it’s using the spinning blue laser, use wind to paraglide over it and smash it from above.

After that, save pillars for the near-end of the battle. The guardian will shoot explosive beams at you. When it charges up, start running against the circle. Attack when it’s charging and then back off when it’s about to beat you down.
