Castti Chapter 1 Walkthrough

Ship

Inquire around for more information

1 After watching the cutscene, take control of Castti.
2 Make use of her daytime Path Action, Inquire, and gather information from marked NPCs on the ship.
3 Two of the NPCs are in the center of the ship while the third is located by the east.

Investigate your possession in the passenger’s cabin

1 After talking to the NPCs, head down to and enter the passenger’s cabin.
2 Pick up Castti’s Satchel on the floor. (Apothecary Satchel x1)

Canalbrine, Harborlands

Look around town

1 Another cutscene will play and Castti has arrived at a small town.
2 Gather information using Inquire at the people around the area.
3 Talk to the villagers and ask for more information, you can also interact with the blue glowing light for some items.
4 Cross the bridge on the left part area and go to the marked location, another scene will play as a boy will fall ill.
5 You need to use you nighttime Path Action, Soothe to the ill boy.
6 A cutscene will play as you treat the boy and meeting Malaya, Sesque will arrive and he is the brother of the boy who fell ill.
7 Castti will learn about the Eir’s Apothecaries and the townspeople are getting sick.

Soothe the ill

1 The 1st patient that you need to look after is located near the ship dock, you need to use Soothe.
2 After that, head over to the 2nd patient which is located inside the house near the wooden cart upstairs.
3 Lastly, the 3rd patient is located at the south area, enter the house and use Soothe.
4 Another scene will play as the townspeople have gathered and giving out information regarding their water source.

Make for the Canalbrine water source

1 Before heading out into the marked area, use the pier on the southern part of the town and ride a canoe.
2 Use the canoe to reach the other areas, the 1st treasure chest is red and it is located at the most left side part of the town. (Resistant Nut x1)
3 Go back to the ship at the dock and at very end, you need to examine the blue light to get. (Inspiriting Plum x1)
4 After that, use the canoe again until you reach the light house at the north part of the town. Use Soothe to the person standing in front of it to knock him out.
5 Head inside the lighthouse and go up until you reach the top, there is a hidden red treasure chest which contains. (Woodcutter’s Great Axe x1)
6 After that, continue your way to the marked location at Path to the Water Source.
7 Go up to the slope going up on the left side then make a right turn on the stone walls to reach the hidden red treasure chest. (Empowering Ring x1)
8 Head to the right side area to spot on the 2nd treasure chest which contains (Darkdelion x1)
9 Continue to the path going left and the 3rd chest is located just below the ladder going up the wall (Grape Leaf x1)
10 Return to the previous path and go to the right side to reach the 4th treasure chest (Plum Leaf x1)
11 Go back to left path and head up to the left side area, follow the path until you reached the walls. Use the ladder to head up.
12 The 5th treasure chest is red and it is located at the upper side of the wall. (Guard’s Helm x1)
13 Head down and there will be a save point, use the pier to ride a canoe and go to left side to reach the 6th treasure chest. (Herb of Healing x1)
14 Another scene will play as you reach through the broken bars near the Canalbrine, Water Source area.
15 Head over to the pier and before going up the path, go to the right side to located the 7th treasure chest. (Diffusing Serum x1)
16 After that head to the path going up until you reach the 8th treasure chest. (Cleansing Leaf x1)
17 Cross the bridge and continue to the path until you reach the save point, the 9th treasure chest is located below it. (Herb of Healing x1)
18 Before heading to the marked location, go to the pier and ride a canoe to reach the left side pier and the 10th treasure chest is located there. (Old Armor x1)
19 Now go back to the path near the save point and head towards the marked location.

Doron & Veron Boss Battle

Octopath Traveler II 2 - Castti Chapter 1 Boss Battle

1 After the cutscene, defeat Veron & Doron.
2 You can use Castti’s Elemental attacks and Medicinal Concoction Skills. It is an effective way to defeat this boss, as it’s weak against those attacks.
3 If there is a situation where you need to restore HP and SP, you can use some healing items.
4 When Castti’s Latent Power is full. Activate it together with boost mode and you can use it to finish off the boss.
5 Obtain item rewards from defeating the boss (Healing Grape Bunch x1).
6 Watch the cutscene and Castti Chapter 1 is finished.
