About 70 Hours to Clear the Main Story (to be confirmed)
While yet to be confirmed by official sources, Octopath Traveler 2’s main story is likely to take about 70 hours to complete. This expected game length essentially amounts to 10 hours more play time than the previous title which had taken somewhere around 60 hours to finish.
The reason for this assumed duration is that Octopath Traveler 2 will feature additional story content in the form of Crossed Paths which were not present in the first game. Crossed Paths are minor tales that focus on the interaction of two Travelers (playable characters) in the game throughout the main story.
About 150 Hours to get 100% Completion (to be confirmed)
Octopath Traveler, the debut entry in the series, required players to put in about 120 hours to get 100% completion. The sequel, meanwhile, may take about 150 hours to unlock all achievements in the game which may include unlocking all endings, clearing all post-game content, unlocking all primary and secondary job skills, and other conditions that were not required in the previous game.
