Felvarg Boss Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Carry multiple recovery and battle items
Make sure you have a supply of HP and SP recovery items on-hand before facing the boss. Before you get to the boss, there is a Provisioner NPC who you may purchase them from. Additionally, carry along a supply of combat goods, such as status effects and elemental damage items. They may also be acquired from chests and NPCs besides stores.
Learn new skills
Before engaging the boss, make sure Temenos learned new skills like Mystical Staff, Prayer to the Flame, or Sacred Shield.
Put Felvarg under a debuff
Debuff Felvarg by utilizing his talent, Moonlight Judgment. The debuffs are random and occur only once per battle.
Cast buff
Follow up your debuffs with buffs (if you have buff skills available). Make use of Prayer to the Flame and Godsblade’s Shield to boost your party’s Physical Defense. To lessen the damage Felvarg will deal to you further, use Sacred Shield or Cover.
Inflict Status Effects on Felvarg
Additionally, you can impair the boss’ status by using items like Bottle of Blinding Dust, Bottle of Befuddling Dust, Bottles of Poison Dust, or Bottle of Nightmares. Although the status infliction’s success likelihood is not 100%, if it hits, his effectiveness in the boss fight would drop.
Recover lost HP and SP
To keep your party’s HP and SP at a safe range, consume HP and SP recovery items. This is effective when you are stalling or building up your BP count in preparation for Boost Mode.
Use Sword and Light skills against Felvarg
Focus your attention on Felvarg (Weak to Sword and Light). Build up your BP while reducing the shield points of the boss.
Activate Boost Mode to deal heavy damage
Utilize Boost Mode and deliver significant damage to Felvarg once Temenos and Crick have at least 3 BP. Use your Sword skills for Crick and Light skills for Temenos.
Combine Temenos’s Boost Mode with his Latent Power
Once Temenos’ Latent Power, Judgment, has fully charged. Felvarg’s Shield Points may be reduced by using any damage type, such as Staves, together with a 2-3 BP Boost Mode. This method is quite effective when using HP or SP leech abilities like Mystical Staff.
If the boss is still alive, repeat the process.
