Hikari Chapter 1 Walkthrough
Hinoeuma, Ku
Defeat enemy soldiers
| 1 | After watching the trial cutscene, take control of Hikari. |
|---|---|
| 2 | You will be in a battle field and you need to clear out enemies with Ritsu. |
| 3 | Another scene will play and afterwards, you need to defeat some soldiers and officer. Rai Mei will also join your party. |
| 4 | Shortly after that fight, you will meet the enemy General and you need to defeat it in order to win the battle. Use Sword and Lightning skills on the Southern General. |
Make your way in the Tavern and Challenge Mugen’s Soldier
| 1 | A cutscene will play while Hikari spends his time training his swords skills at the Hinoeuma. |

| 2 | A lady will appear saying that Mugen’s soldier is making a ruckus at the Tavern. Make your way and use the Radar for a guide. |
| 3 | Another scene will play and you need to use your path action, Challenge to Mugen’s soldier. |
| 4 | After the battle, the soldier will flee the tavern and the lady will thank you outside the tavern. You will need to go and see Benkei. |
| 5 | Feel free to roam around the Hinoeuma for some interactions and information around the area. The 1st chest is located at the house just above/behind the tavern, open the door and head inside. (Healing Grape x1) |
| 6 | The save point is located near the castle door and wall, there is a ladder that can be used to climb the walls. The 2nd chest is located above the walls on the left side (Inspiriting Plum x1) |
Meet Benkei and Find someone who knows Mugen’s plot
| 1 | Head over to the western side and use the stairs to reach the marked area. You will meet the King there. |

| 2 | A cutscene will play and you need to find someone who might know what Mugen is plotting to do. |
| 3 | Go to the North and head towards the Castle Ku to gather information. |
| 4 | Follow the castle merchant inside the storage room. The 3rd chest is red and it is located inside near the wall dividers. (1600 Leaves) |
| 5 | Interact with the Castle Merchant and use Bribe to learn about Mugen’s plot. |
| 6 | Another scene will play as the Merchant gave you an information about Mugen and the Crest of Heroes. |
Go to the Crest of Heroes
| 1 | Head over to the Southern Ku Sands and follow the radar to go at the marked location for the quest. |

| 2 | You can ride the canoe at the pier and use it to reach the next area, as the 4th chest is located at the small pier area just near the outer gates of the village (Energizing Pomegranate x1) |
| 3 | There will be a pier at the east side of the Ku Sands, head over there and continue your way until you reach the end of the opposite side to spot on the 5th chest located at the very end (Fire Soulstone x1) |
| 4 | Continue to the path onto the bottom of the Ku Sand, go near the watch tower and the 6th treasure chest is located below it. (Herb of Light x1) |
| 5 | Head to the path going up to the cliff, you spot a save point there. Make sure to save the progress before proceeding to the marked location. |
| 6 | You also need to go to the right side of the save point to reach the 7th treasure chest located just next to a tent (Herb of Light x1) |
| 7 | Once you are all set, continue your way into the path until you reached the marked location. A cutscene will play. |
Ritsu Mishuyo Boss Battle
| 1 | After the cutscene, you need defeat Ritsu Mishuyo. The boss will also summon two soldiers along his side. |

| 2 | You can use Hikari’s Sword attacks and skills. It is an effective way to defeat this boss, as it’s weak against those sword attacks. |
| 3 | If there is a situation where you need to restore HP and SP, you can use some Healing Items such as Healing Grape and Inspiriting Plum. |
| 4 | When Hikari’s Latent Power and BP is full. Activate it together with boost mode and you can use it to finish off the boss. |
| 5 | Obtain item rewards from defeating the boss (Healing Grape Bunch x1). |
| 6 | Watch the cutscene and Hikari need to head to the Castle Ku to meet Mugen. |
Make it to Castle Ku
| 1 | Before heading into the castle gate, talk to the Ku Soldier to obtain (Empowering Lychee x1). |

| 2 | Upon reaching into the Castle Ku Garden, there will be a save point. Make sure to save your progress. |
| 3 | A cutscene will play as you head inside the Throne Room, you will see Mugen and the King talking. |
| 4 | After the scene, go to the left side to spot the 8th treasure chest located on the left most part (Thunder Soulstone x1) |
| 5 | At the same spot, go down to reach the Merchant’s storage area and a hidden red treasure chest is there. (Critical Ring x1) |
| 6 | Head up using the stairs and turn right to see the hidden ladder going down, the 9th treasure chest is red and requires to go down (Fortifying Nut x1). |
| 7 | Go up again and go to the opposite side, on the left side there will be a room, the 10th treasure chest is located beside a laying person (Healing Grape x1). |
| 8 | Continue your way up into the Throne room, another cutscene will play as you face General Mugen and the King. |
| 9 | Watch the cutscene and Hikari Chapter 1 is finished. |
