Octopath Traveler II Side Story List and Guide
The Traveler’s Bag Side Story / Quest Walkthrough
| 1 | Once you have completed the Main Character Story Chapter 1 and have set out to a journey, this side story will appear. |
|---|---|
| 2 | A cutscene will play as you meet a traveler that lost his bag, he will introduce himself as Al and a thief stole his bag. |
| 3 | After that, a tutorial will appear on how you can switch the time in the game. Press on the button/key to change it to nighttime. |
| 4 | Look around the area and once you have spot on a campfire, approach it and talk to the guy with a hood. |
| 5 | This guy is the bandit and you need accept when a prompt appears: “Take bag back?“. |
| 6 | The bandit is weak against physical attacks so you can use your weapon attacks. |
| 7 | After defeating the bandit, you will obtain Al’s Bag x1. |
| 8 | Go back to Al and talk to him, return his bag back and this completes the side story. |
