Persona 5 Scramble Showtime Guide
Showtime is a technique that spends the Special moves gauge in exchange for an action that causes severe damage. The attack has a wide area of effect and counts as an attribute damage based on the character’s equipped persona.
Changes from other Persona titles
Not to be confused with Showtime in Persona 5 Royal which involves a tag-team attack between two characters. Rather, the feature in P5S involves the combined attacks of one Phantom Thief and his or her persona. The attack relies on filling up a gauge to dispense the character’s Showtime.
Factors that trigger Showtime attack
The character can unleash a Showtime attack when the gauge at the lower right shows “MAX.” Once the gauge is maxed out, press △ + ○ button simultaneously (PS4), or the X + A button (Nintendo Switch). The timing of using Showtime is important since the attack takes time to unlock.
How to fill up the gauge
The Showtime gauge accumulates whenever the character deals normal attacks such as melee or ranged hits. In other words, you need to close in on enemies to fill it up and you can’t rely on using skills. Get familiar with the timing of melee attacks to get the most out of the Showtime attacks.
