Succubus

The Succubus appears as a female demon. She usually preys on men in their dreams and drains them of their life force. An impregnated Succubus will give birth to a witch or a warlock. Sometimes, the child of a Succubus can become a Succubus as well. She comes from Western medieval mythology.

In mythology, Lilith appeared as the original Succubus. As the first wife of Adam, she soon left and mated with the archangel Samael. This resulted in the Angel War, where many angels became Fallen Angels. She soon became the first of four demon queens. At first sight, they appear as beautiful women. However, taking a closer look, one can see their deformities like a serpentine tail and bat-like wings.

Succubus returns as a persona in Persona 5 Strikers (or Persona 5 Scramble). The persona can be summoned or fused by the Protagonist (codename: Joker), the returning main character and leader of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.
