In Kingdom Hearts 3, Even is seen with Demyx at what looks to be Twilight Town. Demyx admits to being useless and a coward and says that he and Even are not friends, though Even shows no reaction to these revelations.

It is currently unknown what role Even will play in Kingdom Hearts 3. His return may also play a large part in events involving the Riku Replica, as the Replica is Even’s creation.

Head of Castle Oblivion’s Replica Program

Organization XIII’s Vexen, also known as the Chilly Academic, is responsible for creating replicas in Castle Oblivion to challenge Sora and his friends throughout the game. In battle, Vexen wields Frozen Pride, a large shield he uses to defend himself. Offensively, Vexen uses ice-based magic attacks to freeze his enemies.

Vexen is known for creating the Riku Replica to challenge the original Riku, though the copy is defeated even after using the darkness that Riku himself wielded previously.

Sora battles and defeats Vexen twice in the story. He is killed by Axel who, along with Marluxia and Larxene, believe that the Chily Acamedic is jeopardizing the plans of Organization XIII.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Mentor to Roxas

Vexen also appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. As leader of Castle Oblivion’s Replica Program, he creates Xion. Xion goes on to become the 14th member of the organization and eventually a close friend of Roxas. Vexen also teaches Roxas the method of reconnaissance during the latter’s days in Organization XIII.
