The Cursed Helmet grants a massive 88 physical and elemental defense at the cost of greatly reducing your maximum SP. To work around this penalty, it is recommended to equip the Collar of Revenge accessory which changes all negative effects of Cursed equipment to positive. This means that you will gain Max SP +66 instead of -66 from the Cursed Helmet when you pair it with the Collar of Revenge.
Found in Brightlands Region
The Cursed Helmet is found in a chest at the Lost Seed (Brightlands Region).
You can reach the chest by going into the house next to the inn. You may need to buy the medicine from the child to change the map. Then, come back to obtain the headgear.
