Open chests in towns and dungeons

Many chests found during the main story also contain money so you should take the time to explore any new areas you visit. You also do not want to miss out on opening chests containing Gold Dust which can be sold for 5,000 Leaves at shops.

Clear Side Stories

Make it a point to clear side stories for additional Leaves and items you can sell for a price. The amount potential by completing a majority of side quests or side missions is up to 320,000 Leaves or higher.

Earn money by winning battles

Simply clearing battles rewards you with money. This means that you can just go through the main story to earn a decent amount of Leaves for purchasing weapons and consumables. It is, however, recommended to take time farming money through more efficient methods.

The amount of Leaves you get for winning encounters depends on the enemies you defeated in battle. Since more powerful monsters appear at night, it is recommended to farm money after dark (though only if you have a competent party to take them on).

Sell unwanted items and equipment

You can sell off any items you do not need at shops to earn some Leaves as well. Any gear, materials, and items you find can be offloaded to various merchants in towns. This, in turn, frees up your inventory for other loot you pick up throughout the game.

Giant Sheep, meanwhile, can be converted to two pieces of the same item, allowing you to earn 1400 Leaves for each monster caught and prepared.

Sell items stolen using Osvald’s Mug or Throne’s Steal Path Actions

You can pilfer items from various NPCs using either Osvald‘s Mug or Throne‘s Steal Path Actions. Note that you can only mug people at night and steal from them during the day. Stolen equipment can then be turned over to shops to earn Leaves.
