Black Ooze

The Black Ooze is a creature that commonly appears in RPG. Ooze creatures are things like slimes, jellies, deadly puddings, and similar mindless, blobs of goo.

Black Oozes don’t have a glamorous origin. They’re creatures that spawn out of toxic sludge. They secrete acid from their skin that dissolves flesh and other materials rapidly. While Black Oozes are blind, they make up for that with an ability called “blind sight.” This allows them to spot nearby objects without actually seeing them.

Black Ooze returns as a persona in Persona 5 Strikers (or Persona 5 Scramble). The persona can be summoned or fused by the Protagonist (codename: Joker), the returning main character and leader of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.
