Kali
Kali is the goddess of destruction in Hinduism. She and Durga departed to slay demons around the world. When Durga is pressed for battle, Kali springs out of her. The battle goddess wore a necklace of skulls and her eight arms carried one blade each. With these blades, she slayed any demons that come before her. She was the personification of destruction and chaos.
Kali was also known as one of the Mahavidra and one of the goddesses that even Shiva bowed to. In other texts, she was Durga’s wrath personified. When Chanda and Munda cornered Durga, her anger brought Kali into the fray. Even with the demon’s reproductive abilities, the goddess made short work of him and ate all his clones.

Kali returns as a persona in Persona 5 Strikers (or Persona 5 Scramble). The persona can be summoned or fused by the Protagonist (codename: Joker), the returning main character and leader of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.
