Principality

The Principality are known as the rulers or holders of princedom. Their name comes from the Latin word “Principati,” which means either ruler or prince. The Principality watch over the rulers of different nations and institutions like the church. These angels rule over a band of angels while charging them to fulfill the divine ministry. There are some who administer and some who assist.

The Principality wield a scepter and wear a crown on their heads. In a sense, they appear similar to America’s Statue of Liberty. Another one of their duties is to carry out the orders given to them from the upper sphere angels. Some of the orders include bequeathing blessings to the material world. They oversee groups of people, educating them while playing guardians of the realm of the earth. However, they also inspire things. They inspire living things to pursue certain paths, such as art or science.

Principality returns as a persona in Persona 5 Strikers (or Persona 5 Scramble). The persona can be summoned or fused by the Protagonist (codename: Joker), the returning main character and leader of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.
