Glory Farming Guide in Shin Megami Tensei V
What is Glory?
Glory is a special type of resource in Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5). It is described as a manifestation of God’s dignity in the world of the Netherworld and can be exchanged for Miracles at Sophia’s shop in the World of Shadows.
Tips for Farming Glory
Look for Mimans.
Finding Mimans scattered in the various locations of the game rewards you with Glory. There are a total of 200 Mimans to look for which is a tedious tasks on its own. To make it easier, you can buy Miman maps from the Fox Demon that appears in the Minato, Shinagawa, Chiyoda, and Taito regions.
Amalgams are silver crystal-like objects that contain hefty amounts of Glory when you break them. As with Mimans, many Amalgams will be hiding in plain sight so try to observe your surroundings and explore as many nooks and crannies while going through the main story.
Farm Nigi Mitama
Nigi Mitama, a type of spirit that occasionally spawns in the game, drops Glory upon defeat. Since they are quite rare, you should try to engage them in battle upon spotting them. Mitama enemies will often run away upon sensing danger so the best way to catch them is to sneak up on them from behind.

To increase the spawn rate of Nigi Mitama, you can purchase the Mitama Dance of Glory DLC (2.99 USD). Afterwards, you will be able to manually adjust the chances of encountering Nigi Mitama in the game, making it very easy to farm them for Glory.
Getting Miracles Using Glory
Spend Glory at Sophia’s Shop (World of Shadows)
As mentioned, Miracles can be acquired in the World of Shadows by exchanging Glory you have accumulated at Sophia’s shop. Upon destroying Abscesses, new Miracles will become available for purchase.
Miracles grant different passive effects to help you in and out of battle. These range from permanently increasing your character’s skill potential, fully restoring your allies’ HP and MP upon leveling up, greatly filling up your Magatsuhi gauge when ambushing enemies, and other beneficial abilities.
