Abscesses are nests of demons found in various locations of Da’at that often block passages to new areas in the game. Interacting with Abscesses will cause multiple powerful enemies to appear.

Can you recruit demons from Abscesses?

It is expected that demons spawned from Abscesses cannot be negotiated with, preventing you from recruiting them.

Upon defeating them and destroying the Abscess, you will be able to acquire Magatsuhi and Glory. Sophia will also sell new Miracles in the World of Shadows when Abscesses are destroyed.

• You can use Spyglass to identify the weakness of the Abscess demons first and leave the battle.
• If your party members cannot cover the weakness of the Abscess demons, you can retreat and replace your party members.

Hamamatsucho Abscess	Hamamatsucho: Attached to a mountain wall and beside a ruined building. Proceed east of Hamamatsucho Leyline Fount. Enemies: Mermaid (Weak to Fire and Elec) Miracles Awakened: Divine Garrison II, Divine Amalgamation, Light Mastery I, Dark Mastery I, and Ailment Mastery I
Shiba Park Abscess	Shiba Park: Attached to a mountain wall beside the river. Proceed west of Hamamatsucho Leyline Fount before reaching Tokyo Tower. Enemies: Sudama x2 (Weak to ?) Miracles Awakened: Magatsuhi Wellspring, Vengeful Opportunist, Fell Swoop, Counter Incentive: Resist, Counter Incentive: Null, and Divine Garrison III.
West Shinbashi Abscess	West Shinbashi: Attached to a mountain wall between the ruined building walls. Proceed north of Kamiyachi Leyline Fount and reach the end. Enemies: Ippon-Datara (Weak to Light) Miracles Awakened: Unyielding Will, Vengeance, Deathly Aura I, and Unforgotten Memories.
Onarimon Abscess	Onarimon: Attached to a mountain wall close to Oni’s location. Proceed west of Onarimon Leyline Fount. Enemies: Leanan Sidhe x3 (Weak to Force and Light) Miracles Awakened: Kindred Favor, Art of Essences II, Summoner’s Hospitality I, Divine Garrison IV
Toranomon Abscess	Toranomon: Attached to a mountain wall before reaching the top of the cliff. Proceed west of the Kamiyacho Leyline Fount and pass by Angel. Drop down to the lower ground and pass by the two southwest red square blocks instead of the west ones. Enemies: Shiisaa x2 (Weak to Fire) Miracles Awakened: Warrior’s Conception, Skill Manifestation, Almighty Mastery I, and Physical Mastery I.
