The Protagonist in Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5)
Prior to his transformation as the being known simply as “Nahobino”, the Protagonist was a normal third-year high school student in Jouin Academy. One fateful day, he and his friend Yuzuru Atsuta pass through Takanawa Tunnel that suddenly collapses on top of them.
Awakening to a ruined version of Tokyo called Da’at, the Protagonist is attacked by demons until a mysteirous man named Aogami saves him. During the course of their meeting, Aogami fuses with the Protagonist who is reborn as an entity neither human or demon called Nahobino. With his newly-acquired powers, the Protagonist journeys across Da’at where God, demons, and humans wage war over the desolate land.
