Vasuki in Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5)
Vasuki is a powerful being who represents the India branch of the Bethel organization. He is depicted in Hindu mythology as a serpent king and is told to have coiled around the neck of Shiva. Literally becoming an ornament the mighty god of destruction wore, Vasuki in turn was blessed, gaining formidable power himself. In the game’s story, Vasuki mentions of coming to Bethel’s Tokyo branch as Shiva’s “proxy”, hinting that his superior may be tied up in other matters.
Vasuki in Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT) is similar in design to his Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner counterpart where he first appeared, sporting a snake-like body, six arms, and a human-shaped head.
