Demyx in Kingdom Hearts 3

Demyx appears with Even in what looks to be Twilight Town in the game’s trailer. Demyx somewhat comically admits to being “useless” and a “chicken” to his companion. He then goes on to say that he and Even are not friends, going so far as to mention how little they have hung out in the past.

It is also speculated that Demyx might be under the influence of Xehanort’s power, as with other characters shown in the trailer. This can be seen by the change in the color of his eyes.

Kingdom Hearts 2

Organization XIII’s Melodious Nocturne

Demyx is known for being the most laid back member of Organization XIII and, while being enemies with Sora, interacts with him in a less-hostile manner compared to other members of the organization. Despite this, he proves to be a formidable foe for Sora and his friends.

Using a sitar called Arpeggio, Demyx can summon objects formed from water to attack his enemies. He is also capable of unleashing geysers and violent streams of water in combat.

Demyx is defeated by Sora at the end of the game. He constantly refers to Sora as “Roxas,” much to the boy’s confusion. He refuses to acknowledge his end before disappearing into nothingness.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Occasional (Lazy) Companion to Roxas

Demyx is seen as his usual lazy self in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. He goes with Roxas on a number of missions and is fond of picking on Xion. He casually admits that he “isn’t cut out for combat,” preferring instead to be assigned to reconnaissance missions.
