Mission 20 – True Power Walkthrough Strategy

Battle with Vergil

Nero will take over and face Vergil. He now has access to his Devil Trigger. Perform the same as with Dante with some variations to playstyle and combos. Make use of Punchline later in the fight to deal with his Yamato shadow while Nero deals with Vergil directly. When Nero gets stabbed by Vergil, he will pick up his sword and stab him back. Again, use your Devil Trigger when Vergil activates his. When you activate Nero’s Devil Trigger, he can occasionally phase through some of Vergil’s attacks when you leap forward. After his health bar is depleted, Nero will hold Vergil and his Yamato shadow to push them into each other.
