Lexaeus in Kingdom Hearts 3
Lexaeus’s human form, Aeleus, may appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 as a minor character. At the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Lexaeus, along with other former Organization members Vexen, Zexion, Xaldin, and Axel are revived as humans in Radiant Garden.
With their discovery that Nobodies can return to human form by defeating both their Heartless and Nobody, the former apprentices devise a way to defeat Xehanort. Axel leaves the castle to train as a Keyblade wielder.

Lexaeus’s History
Aeleus, The Apprentice
Before being a Nobody, Aeleus was a guard and apprentice to Ansem the Wise in Radiant Garden. He, Braig, and Xaldin are tasked to guard Ansem’s castle against the forces of darkness.
After Terra-Xehanort loses his memory and becomes Ansem’s apprentice, Aeleus joins him in his cruel experiments on the Heartless. He helps the other apprentices in abducting civilians and turning them into Heartless.
Terra-Xehanort then stabs all the apprentices with his Keyblade and turns their hearts into Heartless. However, due to their strong will, their bodies transform into Nobodies. The new Nobodies then banish Ansem the Wise to the Realm of Darkness.
Lexaeus, the Silent Hero
As a member of Organization XIII, Lexaeus is one of the most calculating Nobodies. He is able to manipulate and control several uncooperative members to obey Xemnas.
When Roxas joins the Organization, Lexaeus is one of his first mentors. He teaches Roxas how to use the Limit Break ability by beating up Roxas. He tells Roxas that the ability will only appear in dire situations.
After Roxas’ training, Xemnas orders Lexaeus to go to Castle Oblivion. He aims to control the younger members to stop them from betraying Xemnas. Along with Zexion and Vexen, they are able to monitor Marluxia and Larxene’s movements in the castle. The two confirm that Marluxia and Larxene are planning a coup to overthrow Xemnas.
Marluxia plans to use Sora’s power to defeat Xemnas. The senior members decide to use a replica of Riku to defeat Marluxia.
However, when Sora defeats Vexen and Riku defeated Zexion, Lexaeus had no choice but to stop both of them. Lexaeus engages Riku in a battle, knocking the boy unconscious. The lingering soul of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness awakened inside Riku’s body, enabling him to defeat the powerful Lexaeus.
In the Nobody’s last moments, he acknowledges Riku’s power and apologizes to Zexion for failing to finish their plans.
