Attacks

Hook

Goliath swings its arms twice. You can dodge it using Farthest Move.

Striking Punch

Goliath lifts both of its arms over its head and then slams them down. Execute a Farthest Move to evade the attack.

Goliath’s Special Attacks

Flame Rock

Goliath emits a red light from its stomach and absorbs a huge piece of debris before shooting it out. Move back with Farthest Move to avoid the projectile.

Strategy

Summon Nightmare instantly

You can avoid taking damage by summoning Nightmare as soon as the battle starts. This is because Nightmare will intercept the boss’ attacks.

Have Nightmare absorb Goliath’s attacks

With Nightmare around, the boss will focus its attention on the familiar rather than you.

Command your Familiars

While Nightmare is busy, have Shadow and Griffon join the party. Working with your familiars is key to emerging victorious.

Order of Familiars

If you defeated Cavaliere Angelo with the aid of Shadow, you can make quick work of Goliath by summoning Nightmare even in the absence of Griffon.
