Nightmare Boss Guide
Griffon and Shadow are encountered before Nightmare, though they do not prove much of a challenge. Focus on bursting them down by constantly attacking. You can stack up more damage while healing yourself if you use Devil Trigger as well.
Eventually, you will come up to the area where you will fight Nightmare, Griffon, and Shadow at the same time.
Spinning Lariat
Nightmare will raise both its arms and perform a spinning lariat. Simply run away from him to avoid getting hit.
Teleport
Nightmare constantly teleports around the area. Though he won’t deal any damage, he will sometimes more out of your view to catch you off guard.
Exploding Beam
Nightmare fires a beam across the area. After it stops moving, the area where the beam traveled explodes. Use Trickster or jump when you see the beam stop to avoid damage from the explosion.
Domination
Nightmare stands on all fours and shoots a massive laser forward. Dodge it by rolling to the side or using Trickster.

Focus on Nightmare
During the fight against Nightmare, Griffon, and Shadow, only Nightmare has an HP bar. This is because you only need to defeat Nightmare to clear the mission. Focus your attacks on Nightmare, ignoring Griffon and Shadow. Griffon and Shadow will respawn indefinitely, so it is useless to defeat them.
