This rifle performs like a mildly adjusted SR which is a type of weapon specialized in long-ranged battles. Although it can’t fire burst shots or full auto, manual quick-shooting can be performed due to its high rate of fire. However, this DMR has high stability and the trajectory of the bullet is straight forward, but its recoil is quite heavy. This weapon is definitely for intermediate-level players, due to their better recoil control over clicking and shooting. However, in spite of the rifle’s high rate of fire, the number of bullets in this rifle is as small as 10 shots. Therefore, it’s best to look for the large capacity quickdraw magazine. Also, when you add a suppressor The gun sound for this gun becomes very quiet. With this weapon it will be easier to use as a sniper rifle for surprise attacks from middle distance to succeed. If the opponent is wearing a helmet, however, you can’t land a killing blow with a headshot. As a long-range sniper, you’ll have to do some continuous shooting. Note that hip firing is stronger when you are in a short distance. |

The Mark 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle has more power than the SKS but also more recoil. It’s also capable of going full-auto, despite its 10-round magazine (20 with an attachment). It thus makes for a strong close-range weapon for skilled players (i.e. those who don’t waste their bullets). At long range, the Mk14 EBR can take out an opponent in one shot, even if they’re wearing a level 1 helmet. Overall, the Mk14 EBR is considered to be a superior DMR to the SKS, though you’ll have to do some foraging to make use of it. The gun itself can only be found in air drops, and you’ll have to find the rare-ish 7.62mm ammunition. Additionally, attachments ramp up this weapon’s effectiveness more drastically than the other weapons on this list, so you might be searching for supplies for a while. |

Like the SKS, the Mini 14 is used as a hybrid of an assault rifle and sniper rifle. Unlike the SKS, it has a lot less power with a bigger magazine and much lower recoil. The Mini 14 can thus be a good substitute for an assault rifle in mid-range combat, particularly since it’s not terribly difficult to find (same goes for the ammunition). In order to get the best use of the Mini 14, find yourself a large capacity magazine to get up to 30 rounds, or a scope so you can snipe away at your opponents. |
