The AKM has decent power and range, making it a generally reliable assault rifle. However, it has large recoil and thus low firing rate. While moving and using auto shooting at medium distance, it will be a bit difficult to land shots on your target.

It is advised to use it with different attachments to compensate for this, in addition to helping you shoot continuously without constantly clicking.

The Groza is an assault rifle obtained from air drop crates.

It has good power, stability and is reliable in drawn out firefights owing to its high rate of fire.

It comes equipped with a dedicated suppressor attachment from the time of acquisition. Since it has low recoil, it boasts high accuracy even at fully-automatic firing mode. It is most suited for close- to mid-range combat.

However, the Groza is very hard to obtain since it can only be acquired from air drop crates. Because of this, you should always try to get it when you have the chance.

Its limited options for attachments is also a drawback. It can be equipped with a 4X ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sights, and the aforementioned Suppressor for AR, S12K.

The M16A4 is at the top of its assault rifle class in terms of its range, nearly akin to the feel of a sniper rifle. This weapon can be used with either a shotgun or submachine gun to cover both long- and mid-to close-range encounters. It is easily obtainable as well even at the start of the match, which is an advantage.

The M16A4 suffers from large recoil, and the accuracy greatly decreases when you fire it from a long distance. Because of this, it is recommended to use it mostly on single-fire mode. It also has decent aiming.

The M416 is a well-balanced weapon capable of being used at any distance. It is one of the best all-purpose assault rifles in the game.

It also has a variety of options for attachments, making it more viable in most situations. It is arguably the best assault rifle in terms of sheer performance, especially with the right attachments.

If you managed to obtain a grip to reduce recoil, the M416 will be a very good main weapon through most of the match.

The SCAR-L is an assault rifle that has fewer options for attachments than the M416, though performs quite similarly to it. It usually comes down to which of the two you will have obtained throughout the match, or of you feel more comfortable using one or the other.

It has workable recoil, which can be improved by obtaining a grip attachment early on.
