This page contains a guide on the minimum and recommended specifications for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) for PC. In this page, we will summarize the PC specifications necessary to play the game. The recommended specifications on the official website are pretty bad, so if you want to play in a comfortable environment, it’s better to have a PC with slightly better performance.
About PC Specifications
Presently, when you try to play PUBG comfortably, you’ll need considerably higher PC specifications.
As the game is being optimized, it is expected that gaming rigs and laptops that meet the middle specifications will be able to play the game comfortably. To maximize PUBG, however, it’s best to get a high-spec PC.

I am playing the game with lowered graphics (as is written here), but the frame rate is maintained above 60 FPS. I can play it without any problem in operation.
Author’s PC Specifications (Gaming Laptop)
(07/19) It seems that there will be many movements, so I bought a new notebook PC! Here I will introduce the specifications of the notebook PC that I’m using.
CPU | Intel Core i7 7700 HQ |
---|---|
Memory | 16 GB |
Graphic | GeForce GTX 1060 3GB |
Although I am also using 256 GB SSD because I’m an amateur, I didn’t see any noticeable difference with HDD.
I wonder if it will start up quickly. I need to check.
When I played PUBG again, I think that since it is a notebook, it will be too hot to use the built-in keyboard. Therefore, I thought it was better to prepare a separate keyboard. With this spec, I can play the frame rate, etc, without any problem at all.
It’s a strength that you can play almost anywhere with a laptop. However, if you are not planning to carry a computer around, I recommend a desktop PC.
