Strategy
Winding Cross (Foggy)
Simply defeat Jin on Winding Cross (Foggy) to clear the substory. It is a good idea to have some familiarity with the course before racing Jin, as Winding Cross consists of a very narrow road and many sharp turns. Jin himself is a very challenging rival and can easily overtake you if you hit walls even just a few times.
Jin is also very good at tackling corners but is only about as fast on the straight as Akira. The key to defeating him, as with your previous rival, is to drive smoothly and consistently. You should never slow down as much as possible.
Use Crimson Fire
Crimson Fire’s high grip and handling performance is a good choice for taking on Jin, especially for passing through sharp turns. The cart can also muster enough top speed to race against Jin competently. Just be sure to have it fully upgraded before the race.
