Substory 6: It’s the Thought That Counts Walkthrough
1 | Approach the homeless man, Jinnai, together with a child named Shota located in the east side of the river and across the Takoyaki restaurant. This will trigger a cutscene. |

2 | After the cutscene, talk to the man located at the entrance of Isesaki Road. Then, choose an option to that will improve a specific human power stat. We recommend the second option. |
3 | Leave and head to the northwest area of your location. Enter a vacant lot and fight the Karate master and students in order to acquire wood. |
4 | Move to the location of Hello Work and go fight the city thugs in the southern area vacant lot. Acquire nails from defeating them. |
5 | Return to the Sakuragawa-dori and speak to the homeless man again. You will be asked to look for a bookshelf. |
6 | Proceed south of Sakuragawa-dori and east Hello Work to reach the marked location and find a bookshelf in the garbage pile. |
7 | Return again to Sakuragawa-dori and defeat Shota’s father, Kato. Acquire “Sacrifice Stone” for accomplishing the substory. |
Strategy
Carefully choose a reply that will increase a specific Human Power Stat
When speaking to a man in front of the trash heap, you will be asked to choose a reply. Each reply will boost a human power stat.

Defeat the Karate master and the students
Head to the vacant lot to face the Karate master and four students. At the start of the battle, use a range attack that can hit multiple enemies. Make use of extreme skills to defeat the students. Finish the Karate master last.

Defeat the city thugs
Transfer to another vacant lot near Hello Work in Chuo-dori. Locate a vacant in the southern location of Hello Work. There will be three enemies named “Toyama”, Wakabayashi”, and “Oba”.
Defeat “Wakabayashi” and “Oba” first using physical and fire attacks. Then, focus on hitting “Toyama” using blade attacks.
Defeat the Kato
After acquiring the bookshelf, return to Sakuragawa-dori. Defeat Kato using extreme skills first. When you defeat Kato, you will receive a “Sacrifice Stone”.
