This article contains a list of recommended SMG mods (short for, ‘modifications’) in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds [PUBG]. We will update this article if there are more mods. Or if there are other mods, leave it in the comment box below.
Recommended SMG Mods
SMGs (or Sub Machine Guns) are weapons used in PUBG. Unlike the Assault Rifle, the SMGs have a limited range. Most players would rather utilize this kind of gun towards the end. Because of its shortened range, it makes up for it with its explosive power. As a machine gun, it boasts shooting a full stream of bullets in which players can unload a full-clip.
However, there are ways to improve the SMGs‘ attacking power or range. These are what players call SMG mods which increase the stability and lessen the recoil of the gun. Below are recommended SMG mods for SMGs.
Extended Magazine
Having an extended magazine shortens the player’s reload frequency, allowing the player to clinch in battle. This kind of modification also increases the reliability of the SMGs especially for the Vector and the Uzi. Because SMGs have a limited bullet capacity, having an extended magazine would increase the firepower of both the Vector and the Uzi.
Suppressor
The suppressor allows players to take advantage of the SMGs‘ high rate of fire. The Suppressor grants a stealth element to the player utilizing the gun, allowing more tactical kills. This also prevents the player from being detected easily, giving the player the element of surprise. This kind of modification however requires the player to frequently close in before bursting down an opponent.
Vertical Foregrip
Because the SMGs is known for high recoil, the Vertical Foregrip can stabilize the recoil. In doing so, it improves the range of both the Vector and the UMP. This also allows the player the option to shoot from far range instead of close range or point black.
Uzi Stock
This particular mod is more for the Uzi rather than the other guns. If the player is set on obtaining and using the Uzi as his main weapon, getting the Uzi Stock can improve the firepower of this particular SMG. Once obtained, the player can equip this particular SMG mod to improve stability and lessen recoil.
