Strategy
Smoke grenades are like stun grenades, they obstruct the player’s vision. The only difference is that it lasts longer than stun grenades. Smoke grenades spew dense smoke around an area allowing you to pass inside without being visible to the enemy.
You can use smoke grenades in areas where there are a lot of players guarding it or players camping around it since they are probably predicting that a lot of other players will use that route. Bridges are one example for an area where you can use smoke grenades. Since you are very vulnerable for players camping in that area, using a smoke grenade will allow you to cross bridges without having to worry about being clearly visible from enemy players.
Smoke grenades unlike stun grenades, can be used to its full potential in open areas since it allows you to cover from the exposed surroundings in the open area. Smoke grenades can also be used to save your teammates from enemies. You can deploy a smoke grenade in a location where they’re currently under heavy fire. You can also use the smoke grenade to the direction of your enemies as a way to obstruct their vision in return since being inside the smoke also obstructs your vision.
You can also use your smoke grenades when you’re getting supplies in open areas. Enemy players might use supplies as lure, so use a smoke grenade when you’re unsure of taking the supplies. This will ensure you to safely pickup the items without having to continuously dodge enemy fire.
