Yakuza: Like a Dragon Bonds Guide
Bond affects the intimacy between Kasuga and his friends. You can raise the bond by spending time with others through party chats, movie nights, playing mini games, and eating at restaurants. The bond consists of the level which goes up when the bond accumulated becomes full.
Effects
Improving the bond between Kasuga and his friends unlocks many features such as new jobs, strengthening skills, and helping with pursuits.
Tips for raising the bond level
Give gifts
Offering gifts is the most efficient way to raise the bond level. Each gift fills the gauge by 25 points. Give more gifts to unlock the bond drama easily. Gifts can be bought in the form of bouquets which can be bought from the truck in Hamakita Park.
Leave a party chat message
While exploring towns, you’ll occasionally receive messages from friends through the party chat. After receiving the message, you can interact with them by pressing either the △ or the □ button. Listen to the dialogue fully to raise the bond.
Watch a movie
Another way to increase the bond level is to spend time at the theater. Go to the “Revival House” to get started.
Spend time at the restaurant
Last but not the least, you can also spend time with others at one of the restaurants in Yokohama. You can listen to stories during the “Banquet Talk” to improve your relationship with others.
Unlocking the bond drama
Achieving a higher bond level unlocks the bond drama. The bond drama appears at bar “Survival” snack area in Isesaki Town. Aim to fully raise the bond level to unlock powerful skills with your friends.
