Golf Rules

Use the L3 stick

Move the L3 stick to know the direction and distance. Press the R1 button to change the camera and fine tune your settings.

Press the Circle button to hit

After the direction and distance have been decided, press the Circle button to hit the ball. If you are playing for the first time, you’re better off moving the blue cursor to set the power.

Measure the impact

Press the Circle button once more to set the impact. The setting determines where the ball will move. Remember that if you fail to stop the impact within the colored bar, the hit will not be successful.

Study the area

Use the L3 stick to adjust the direction you want to face. You can switch the camera with the R1 button to check the view overhead. Press the Circle button after making preparations.

How to hit the ball

If you hit the ball with enough strength, you can send the ball moving forward. Time the action button so that the meter aligns with the red mark. The impact should be around the red section of the gauge close to the 0 mark.

Check the trajectory

In advanced courses, there are strong winds that measure 8 to 10 meters which will alter where the ball will land after the hit. Adjust the impact while taking the influence of wind in mind.
