[PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds / PUBG] Month 3 Patch Notes

Month 3 Patch Notes (June 29, 2017)

This update information carried out on June 29, 2017 and is as follows.

 

Server Performance Improvement

  • The amount of data transmission from the server to the client was reduced, improving network performance.
  • Preventing large amounts of data from being sent simultaneously from the server to the client was implemented reducing network lag.

Client Performance

  • Fixed a problem of  FPS drop when there are other characters in the area.
  • Fixed a problem of FPS dropping by optimizing vehicles.
  • Rendering performance of long-ranged weapons improved.
  • Weapon animation improved.
  • In-game effects such as the bombing of the red zone were optimized.
  • Many UI functions improved.
  • Performance improved during rain.

New Items Added

  • “Groza” which can be obtained previously through care packages alone was added.
  • “P18C” was added.

Gameplay

  • Burst mode of “Vecto” and “UMP 9” was added.
  • Items can now be picked up while moving.
  • You can now take action such as opening a door, picking up an item or riding a vehicle while reloading. However, reloading is canceled by doing these.
  • When in the revived state, the screen gradually desaturates based on the remaining health.
  • In the revived state, blood splashes are no longer displayed.
  • In the duo and team mode, when the player who knocked the other player out will receive an additional kill count regardless of who killed them.
  • Handguns are now smoother to draw.
  • You can no longer change the firing mode while reloading.
  • The frequency with which the play area is displayed in the center has been adjusted and appears more evenly within the circle.
  • When using the Ctrl key in the inventory, picking up or dropping only a part of the item will result to the quantity being defaultedto 1.
  • Motorbike and motorcycles with sidecar were adjusted to move more smoothly.
  • Picking up an item will no longer allow you to switch to and from prone position.
  • It is now possible to attach “red dot site” to a handgun except the “R1895”, a revolver.
  • Recoil on the UMP 9 has been increased. Stability increased from 30.6 to 36.4.

World

  • Sunset and Clear Skies weathers were added.
  • Destructible cabins have been added.
  • A new animation was added for when a character is taking damage at fall speed.

Items and Vehicles

  • Spawned vehicles now face at random directions.
  • AR Silencers, SR Silencers, and 4x Scopes can now be obtained in care packages but at low probability.
  • Spawn rate of UMP 9 decreased slightly.
  • Spawn rate UZI slightly increased.
  • Spawn rate of level 1 helmets were higher than that of the level 1 vest; adjusted so they now have the same spawn rate.
  • Slightly increased spawn rate for buildings and areas where items have low spawn.
  • Names of weapon attachments of certain weapons were changed.
  • Spawn time of vehicles and boats were adjusted allowing them to be visible from a distance.
  • Airplanes at the start of the game were also improved.
  • Cargo doors now open when players are deployed from the plane.
  • Lighting inside and outside the airplane was optimized.

UI

  • The direction of the teammate’s icon came to come in the direction the teammate faced.
  • A list of teammates now appears on the world map screen.
  • Character’s recoil animation was improved.
  • Death icons are now deleted after a certain period of time has passed since the teammates died or moved away.
  • Thai language, Indonesian language, Vietnamese language was added to the language.

Bug Fixes

  • The volume of voice chat temporarily rises when riding an airplane was corrected.
  • The character being not in the center of the screen while on a parachute was fixed.
  • Fixed the effects where it previously had looked the same underwater and outside.
  • Reloading into game while previously parachuting will still be the same when you get back in the game.
  • Players deleting outer walls of buildings by deleting certain files was fixed.
  • A bug where the character being misplaced when getting inside a vehicle was fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that causes players to be partially stuck in terrains.
  • Interacting motion of a character trying to pick up items when there is no space in the inventory was fixed.
  • Game crashing when fences were destroyed was fixed.
  • Invisible fences still existing after being destroyed fence corrected.
