Brawler Tier List for Brawl Star's Duo Showdown game mode. This event pits five pairs of players against each other in a free for all battle to the death.

Brawler Tier List – Show Down: Duo

Duo Showdown is the same free for all as Solo, but five pairs of Brawlers fight each other rather than 10 individuals. Some find much more usefulness in this game mode than in Solo, which other Brawlers fall off in effect.

Tier List

S Tier

The allstars that can carry their group with almost any partner. They are always good picks when looking to succeed.

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars DynamikeDynamike Dynamike’s ability to deal heavy damage from safe locations make him great here. While he risked stumbling into enemy fire in solo mode, he is much safer when with a partner. Even if the enemy is too agile to hit directly, Dynamike’s bombs can shepherd targets toward his partner for a kill.
Brawl Stars SpikeSpike Spike is another brawler who can show off his potential much more when paired with backup. His heavy damage potential allows him to take down enemies quickly, and the spread of needles from Needle Grenade allows him to attack hard to reach enemies.
Brawl Stars PocoPoco Having an ally to support greatly bolsters Poco’s potential in Showdown. Encore can refresh his team and flip otherwise close fights. His damage isn’t spectacular, but can be the extra push that his partner needs to take an enemy down.
Brawl Stars FrankFrank His powerful attacks and hefty heath can be a huge asset in team fights. Beyond all else, though, his Stunning Blow can leave enemies stuck and unable to resist incoming attacks.

A Tier

Rather strong Brawlers who will regularly do well in Duo Showdowns, but don’t have quite the effect as those in the S-tier. Still, they are very safe choices when going into Duo Showdowns.

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars TaraTara Having to fight multiple opponents instead of dueling actual benefits Tara considerably. Her kit is well suited to groups and Gravity can set both members of an enemy team up for simultaneous death.
Brawl Stars BrockBrock High damage and range make Brock exceptionally lethal. His main weakness of being snuck up upon is alleviated by having a teammate. Careful aim and set up can make Brock a very formidable foe.
Brawl Stars LeonLeon Leon is an exceptionally lethal force due to his high damage and ability to sneak around the battlefield. His main problem is getting blindsided after a poor assassination attempt or getting caught out without Smoke Bomb. He isn’t the greatest team player, however, more regularly favoring solo attacks.
Brawl Stars CrowCrow The poison of his attacks can offer a nice bit of support damage to Crow’s team, making it much easier to chase down enemies and pick them off. Swoop can take Crow out of danger should it arise, though players should be careful not to leave their teammate to die if it can be avoided.
Brawl Stars PennyPenny Penny can do considerable damage to enemy teams if she can catch both in Plunderbuss’s splash. Old Lobber can make movement difficult for enemies, but is much harder to safely deploy. Since enemies attack from all sides rather than a single one, making it vulnerable.
Brawl Stars BarleyBarley A more chaotic battlefield makes it harder for Barley to predict enemy movements. That said, he can add a considerable amount of pressure when fighting with another team, giving his ally an easier time. If nothing else, he can push enemies away from one another to force them into uneven matchups.

B Tier

Brawlers in B Tier is capable, but don’t necessarily outshine their peers. Players who are capable with the Brawler can succeed, but they are not safe picks for everyone.

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars MortisMortis Mortis is able to sweep onto enemies and take them out while his ally supports from a distance. That said, Mortis can be very vulnerable to enemy fire and thereby has to be careful when picking his battles.
Brawl Stars ColtColt Colt’s damage can be great in taking down enemies from afar. Bullet Train can be additionally useful as it allows Colt to take out enemies who are hiding behind cover or even both in a team at once.
Brawl Stars BoBo Bo’s mines can make traversing the battlefield rather difficult for his foes and his attacks can take enemies out from a distance. That said, his attack pattern is tricky to manage and he can isn’t able to take much punishment before falling.
Brawl Stars ShellyShelly A capable fighter who is mostly limited by her range, Shelly can do well in Showdown. She can rely heavily on her ally for cover as she moves to targets, limiting her potential. That said, getting close to an enemy will next to ensure their death
Brawl Stars RicochetRicochet Ricochet is great when it comes to damage, especially in tight areas. That said, maps in Showdown are generally a bit open for him to have full effect, and so players may struggle to squeeze out his full damage potential.
Brawl Stars JessieJessie Jessie finds more use in Duos than Solo Showdown. That said, she can still be hard to get much damage from. Her turret is a nice addition to her DPS, but is more vulnerable here than in normal modes. This is due to 8 enemies wanting it dead rather than the typical 3.
Brawl Stars BullBull Bull has some powerful burst damage and can take a licking before falling. His main issue is range, having to be crafty in his approach to get into range. Bull Rush isn’t the best move in Showdown, best used as an escape.
Brawl Stars El PrimoEl Primo Similar to Bull, El Primo is a huge threat to targets he manages to approach. Getting into range can be difficult, though, as El Primo is limited to melee range. This can make approaching difficult, especially if the map lacks much in terms of cover.

Tier C

Tier C Brawlers are more likely to hinder their team than help. Only players extremely comfortable with the Brawlers should use them in this game mode.

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars NitaNita Nita’s short range and only average health keep her from really being able to rough enemies up. What’s more, Big Baby Bear won’t offer much in fights, more often than not being shot down before it can offer much support.
Brawl Stars PamPam Pam can take a few hits but doesn’t offer much firepower to her group. Mama’s Kiss can help hold position when the game is near its end, but will not find heavy use in the earlier stages of the game.
Brawl Stars PiperPiper Piper needs a clear, long shot at targets in order to be effective. She additionally does best when not having to move much herself. Both of these things are rather difficult to come across in Showdown, Brawlers constantly roaming the map to hunt down prey and avoid anyone out for their hide.
Brawl Stars DarrylDarryl Darryl is much like Bull in playstyle, however doesn’t have quite the same firepower as his human counterpart. In addition, Barrel Roll bounces off of obstacles rather than cut through them, making it much riskier of an ability. More often than not, Darryl will find himself having rolled into danger instead of an advantageous situation.
