S Tier

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars SpikeSpike Spike is a very viable brawler in Showdown. Spike Grenade can be used to harass multiple enemies at once and Stick Around can be a life saver in controlling enemies
Brawl Stars FrankFrank Frank is good at surprising enemies with Hammer Hit and Stunning Blow. An unwary enemy brawler might go inside the bush only to find Frank ready to unleash his attacks for a quick kill. There are a lot of bushes in showdown maps, giving Frank a lot of options when it comes to surprising enemies.
Brawl Stars LeonLeon Leon is a strong brawler that has the ability to hide himself with his Smoke Bomb. In Showdown, he can be a great pick, as this invisibility can help him slip up to opponents to assassinate them or away from fights that could end with his death.

A Tier

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars ColtColt Colt has one of the highest damage outputs in the game. He tends to dominate in showdown as he can quickly kill enemy brawlers with his high damage ouput coupled with his long range. That said, he is rather vulnerable and can be quickly killed if an enemy manages to ambush him.
Brawl Stars CrowCrow Crow is a strong brawler in almost any game mode. In Showdown, he can be a great threat due to his ability to harrass and pick off enemies. He can escape and initiate with swoop, his poison damage reveals units who are hiding in the grass, and his overall damage can make him hard to fight.
Brawl Stars BoBo Bo deserves this spot in Showdown only if he has his star power. Otherwise, he falls into the B or even the C tier. His basic and super attacks are unpredictable and may require some luck and skill in order to hit successfully in a large showdown. That said, being able to see through the tall grass deserves special mention in his effectiveness at finding enemies and catching them unaware.
Brawl Stars TaraTara Tara is a strong brawler in showdown as she has a decent damage and her super attack can do wonders when it comes to picking off enemies. Her attack pierces enemies which can be perfect when the map shrinks and two or more brawlers are still alive.
Brawl Stars BarleyBarley Barley leaves a puddle that damages enemies who step on it. This alone can be an advantage as he can just spam his attack on chokepoints and areas where crates are grouped. A Barley can deal damage from afar without having to worry about enemies by using walls for cover.
Brawl Stars PamPam Pam is very tanky and hard to kill especially when she has her healing turret. Her tankiness can be beneficial as she can quickly go to the middle of the map to stand her ground for an early advantage.

B Tier

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars PocoPoco Poco might be better in duo showdown compared to the solo showdown. He isn’t completely helpless in Solo, his heal allowing him for some staying power in fights. That said, he doesn’t have the damage to reliably take down enemy Brawlers and thereby can really struggle at times.
Brawl Stars BrockBrock Brock deals a ton of damage. What placed him lower in the tier list is his basic attack that can be difficult to hit in this game mode. The maps in showdown constantly shrink, making it hard for him to be effective once it it becomes smaller. In addition, he can be quickly torn down should an enemy get a lucky shot or sneak up on him.
Brawl Stars DynamikeDynamike Dynamike can be good at the right hands, but he has the same problems as Brock and other long range brawlers that makes him difficult to pull off once the map shrinks. That said, if he can find a good wall to hide behind, he can cause a lot of chaos throwing TNT sticks over the wall at enemies.
Brawl Stars PennyPenny Penny’s super attack can go over obstacles. With this, she can be great at setting up a perimeter where she can wait there until the toxic gas shrinks. Her basic attack does decent damage as well, which can help her strengthen her position even more if she opts to be at the middle of the map early. That said, she’s not the best ono one on one combat and so isn’t necessarily a perfect fit for Solo Showdown.
Brawl Stars NitaNita Nita is a strong brawler in her own way, but she does not fare well in Showdown. Her basic attack is short and her super does not do much unless the map is already small. She will have a hard time securing her position and getting kills.
Brawl Stars PiperPiper If you want to play Piper, you have to make sure to finish the game as early as possible. Once the map shrinks, she will have a hard time dealing damage and aiming her basic attack.  Otherwise, it’s more of a risk picking her in this game mode.
Brawl Stars ShellyShelly Shelly is a mixed bag in this game mode. She can be good once you get a clear grasp of how Showdown should be played as a short-range brawler. On the other hand, it’s hard to properly utilize her when dealing with long ranged Brawlers.
Brawl Stars JessieJessie Jessie is a brawler you would see dominate in a small, tight map. This isn’t the case for Showdown, as the map is relatively large compared to the other modes. Her super attack also doesn’t go through walls which can be a burden if you want to secure an area.
Brawl Stars RicochetRicochet Ricochet relies on walls to be effective, and most maps in Showdown does not give you that benefit. He will have a hard time dealing damage and properly utilizing his basic and super attack. It’s best if you play him on other modes, but avoid him in here as much as possible.
Brawl Stars El PrimoEl Primo What keeps El Primo from dropping in the C tier is the versatility of his super attack. This can either get him a clutch kill or help him escape in tight spot. That said, his miniscule range can make him quite difficult to use in Showdown, needing to rely on tall grass to have a chance of hitting opponents.

C Tier

Brawler Description
Brawl Stars BullBull Shelly is a better option when you want a tanky, close-range brawler. While Bull can definitely manage kills if he gets right up on enemies, he relies completely on tall grass for surprise. Bull Rush isn’t very reliable, as it can easily send Bull charging right into a big heap of trouble
Brawl Stars MortisMortis It will be hard playing Mortis in such an open environment like Showdown. You really need to be cautious, hide in the grass, and hope for the best. Life Blood can be a huge help if he manages to get it, though that mimght be difficult.
Brawl Stars DarrylDarryl Darryl has the same problem with Bull. There are other better options if you want a tanky, close-range brawler. He also has a similar super attack Bull which can’t be controlled and might land in danger if used recklessly.
