[Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds / PUBG] Bluehole Previews a New Vaulting System in Development!

This is a Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds article. Here you will learn all about the upcoming vaulting system for the newer updates of the game.

Bluehole Previews New Vaulting System

PUBG is quite different from most online shooters. While other shooters might have big maps, vehicles, and great gunplay, they often spare their players the realism involved in fighting for the sake of convenience. Battlegrounds is rather different. From bullet drops to realistic noises, there’s a lot of strategy to be used when you play this game. It isn’t all run-and-gun: you have to listen, look around, move around carefully, aim well, fire with purpose, etc.

One of the frustrating things about this game is the fact that, when you see a wall or a reasonably high fence, you can’t jump over it immediately. There are certain structures that have parts of their wall blasted away, and with some skill you can jump over them and over to the other side in just a second. However, this isn’t always the case. For such a realistic game, I wished that Bluehole had some kind of system that allowed me to vault over one of those things. For one, it would be awesome. Vaulting systems, like in Rogue Trooper are fun and makes the game feel a lot more realistic.

Bluehole must be monitoring my mind because they released a Work-In-Progress (the second one, actually) of their new vaulting system for PUBG. You can find it below:

What am I seeing?

The video shows a new and dynamic way of vaulting and climbing over things. You can now climb over certain objects and vault over others. From what we’ve seen, the system is very  contextual. Depending on the object you are traversing, you can either vault or climb. Another thing that seems to determine whether you vault or climb would be how hard you press on the object. This will be an incredibly (in a good way) game-breaking feature once implemented.
