Here is an initial list of collectible memory chips in Death Stranding. We will update their locations in the coming days.

2 Frame Arms Girl: Byakko Head up the steps to the left of the delivery terminal at Wind Farm.

4 Frame Arms: Genbu On the path heading to the tower close to the Weather Station, examine the surroundings to find it.
5 Frame Arms: Mingwu Enter the tunnel that goes to Mama’s Lab.
6 Kotobukiya Ludens Girl Model Head outside the Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot. Follow the path to the right and look for it near some of the huge trucks.
7 Prime 1 Studio 1/2 Scale Ludens Statue Search the columns. The spot is to the north of Mountain Knot City.
8 Sentinel 1/6 Ludens Action Figure From the central section, search for the cave with a river nearby.
9 Max Factory Ludens Figma From South Knot City, hug the shore and follow the path where it terminates. Examine the rubble.
10 Good Smile Company Nendoroid Jumbo Ludens Start from Edge Knot City and follow the path to the corner near the crates.
11 Christine Cross to the opposite side of the mountain to find the entrance to a cave. The spot can be found near the Elder.
12 Godzilla When you reach the outer part of Mountain Knot City, approach the crater and move down the slope.
13 The Walk The spot lies near the first prepper. Go up the mountain on the northwest until you reach the peak. Scan the area to find it.
14 Stand By Me To the west of Lake Knot City, scale up and move to the south side. Raise the level of the Waystation North of Mountain Knot City. You can tell when the chip spawns as soon as you receive an email about the crater.
15 Big Fish From Port Knot City, have Sam climb up to reach the top of the stack of the craters. The spot lies to the west.
16 Fright Night Start at the Ruined Shelter in the Central region, then move south. Follow the path near the water and search near some rocks.
17 Matango Go to the top right hand side of the mountain. Check the cryptobiote nest.
18 The Seven Samurai From the East Region, you’ll need to look for it inside the cave that takes you to the MULE territory.
19 Bridge on the River Kwai Start from Mama’s Lab. Proceed west and check the debris of a ruined building by the water. You’ll need to deploy a ladder to reach the location.
20 Dr. Strangelove You have to look nearby Heartman’s Lab. Examine the spot to the south and scan the clusters of rocks by the shore.
21 Eggshell Craving Start from Lake Knot City. Go outside and continue south just before you reach the site of the MULEs. Investigate the spot where the first few tents appear.
22 Glasscraft Check the recess flanked by rocks. The spot is in the central region north of the Elder.
23 Coffee Cup The spot is inside one of the tents of the enemy campsite near Timefall Farm. Check the map and look for the spot close to the postbox.
24 Soap Bubble In the same location as the 23rd chip, head to the path to the north. Search the corner for an elevated spot. The location gives you a bird’s-eye-view of the fields and the water tank.
25 Frozen Soap Bubble From Heartman’s Lab, head west and check the edge of the platform.
26 Dandelion Seeds Start from the Spiritualist, go up the mountains to the south and check the remains of the cabin.
27 Wine Glass From the Mountaineer, follow the west side. Trek the mountain path and look for it in the mouth of the cave.
28 Pottery Go around Mama’s Lab. You’ll need a ladder to reach the big tower.
29 Snow Crystal From Mountain Knot City, follow the southeast trail. Scan the location near the structure.
30 Fused Silica You must have reached five stars with the Paleontologist. Go to sleep in the private room or make a delivery and then sleep and the e-mail should appear. Read the e-mail and look for the ravine to the south of Paleontologist.
31 Reverse Trike: “Ride” Type Appears to the south of the waterfall near the Cosplayer. Search the cave entrance at the lower floor.
32 Honda NSR250R The area below the Craftsman. Head to the MULE campsite and scour the tables inside the tents.
33 Honda Rebel 500 Start from Timefall Farm, head to the stable up north. When you reach the location, scale to the upper floor and check the rack.
34 Triumph Bonneville Bobber From the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot, proceed south and search the couch in one of the MULEs’ tents.
35 Triumph Street RS Start from the Junk Dealer’s shelter. Follow the path leading east to find a stack of crates. Check wrecked cars on top of the white crate.
36 Yamaha MT-09 From the Craftsman, take the southwest path. Enter the MULE territory and search the large tent’s table.
37 Yamaha RD500LC Start from the West of Lake Knot City. Head southwest from the Incinerator and scan the tents.
38 Kawasaki Z1 (900 Super Four) Appears on the south side of the Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot. Scan the large tents to find it.
39 Kawasaki Ninja H2R Start from the Exo-devo Biologist, and then continue south. When you arrive, search the tent.
40 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 The spot lies on the edge of the Distribution Center North of Edge Knot City. Check the map and the spot should be close to a crater.
41 Death Stranding / Low Roar From the Port Knot city access point, approach the shore and examine the blue crates.
42 Lucio Fulci’s Horror and Thriller Compilation You need to have unlocked the e-mail “A Strange Light at the Incinerator” to spawn this memory chip. After unlocking it, start at the East Region. From the incinerator’s location, scale to the rooftop and search the lower corner.
43 Profondo Ross Original Motion Picture To spawn this memory chip, you must first obtain the e-mail “A Weird Glowing Object,” which appears in Capital Knot city. Start at Capital Knot City and look for it by the Isolation Wards. Deploy a ladder to climb to the rooftop.
44 Thelma Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Start from Waystation North of Mountain Knot City. After heading past the Craftsman, enter the stable and search the truck. Beware of the surrounding BTs.
45 dawn/SILENT POETS The spot lies on the East Region. Take the path that leads to a cave. It should be on the upper left side of the Musician.
46 Low Roar/Low Roar From Timefall Farm, head north past the stable of the MULE campsite. The chip rests near a large rock by the river.
47 0/Low Roar Start from Lake Knot City. Proceed along the path Sam took before, and then head up the steps. Search for a ship and check the crate near the edge.
48 Once in a Long, Long While…/Low Roar From the Film director’s shelter, follow the north path to reach a crack that leaks of smoke. Squeeze through the passage to find the chip. Head back out by sprinting. You may also deploy a ladder or rope to get out faster.
49 God of War Original Video Game Soundtrack Near the entrance to Wind Farm. Search the spot near some stones of the BT zone.
50 Bronson Soundtrack Start from the Waystation North of Mountain Knot City. Take the northwest path and scan the zone. Bring out the map, the spot is near where some rocks form a line.
51 Valhalla Rising: Original Sountrack by Peter Peter & Peter Kyed Head to Timefall Farm and trace the path under a pair of grey pillars. The zone is devoid of enemies, but your best bet is to carry some tools like a rope and some ladders.
52 Nicolas Winding Refn The Wicked Die Young Start from Mountain Knot city. The chip lies by a ruined fort. Avoid the BTs as you go along.
53 My Life Directed By Nicolas Winding Refn Proceed along the center of Edge Knot City and the Distribution Center North of the city. Check the debris to the right of the highway
54 An Unknown Man’s Journal Part 1 Start from the south entry of Ruined Shelter. Scan the location facing the remains of the buildings.
55 An Unknown Man’s Journal Part 2 In the barren town that lies southwest of the Junk Dealer. When you receive the quest to fetch some parts, look around at the back of a vehicle parked along the edge of the street.
56 An Unknown Man’s Journal Part 3 Visit Higg’s hideout after completing Episode 9. You need to have obtained the e-mail that grants you permission to enter the hideout. Head to Peter Englert to the east of Ruined Shelter. Enter the location to find it.
