Overview
Using signs is a creative way to interact with other players in online mode. You can use signs to give praise, react, suggest, negotiate, warn, or show details of certain locations. There are five different groups of signs.
How to create a sign
To put up a sign, head to the overworld or enter a facility. Press and hold the L1 button to display the compass. Tap triangle to go to the menu screen for making signs.
Other
Other signs consist of 15 different reactions. Among the list of signs, these vary in color.

| Do Not Use! | Shows the words “Do not use.” |
| Pee Ban | Shows disapproval for peeing. |
| No Dumping | Shows disapproval for trash. |
| You Sleep, You | Shows disapproval for sleeping. |
Recommendations
Recommendation signs consist of nine different icons. These signs are wrapped in blue with a light bulb on the upper right corner.

Risk signs consist of 15 different icons. These signs often warn passers-by of danger ahead.

| Heavy Rain or Storm | Shows a pair of clouds with lightning bolts |
| Hard Run (motorcycle) | Shows a person on a motorcycle passing through a jagged path. |
| Hard Run (truck) | Shows a truck passing through a jagged path. |
| Vog | Shows a masked person icon. |

Route Info signs consist of 27 different icons. These signs show details of the route.
