Artifacts are special items in Tales of Arise that grant special passive effects in and out of combat. They are acquired from specific enemies or areas while out in the field.

Tales of Arise - Artifact Effect List

The moment you acquire a new artifact, its effect will be automatically activated in the game. However, you can turn it off if you want to customize your gameplay experience. Check the Artifacts option under the Field Guide and press △/y to check the list of effects.

Description An old text on food, and a thorough one at that. Though it mainly deals with fruits, there are some entries pertaining to bells and keys.

Description The skull of a hideous demon beast. Though small, they were once feared as malicious deities, devouring all in their path.

  • Region: Viscint – Training Grounds
  • Unlock Chaos Difficulty: +100% damage dealt and damage received.

Description A sinister sculpture one would dare not even touch. The bottom of its foot bears the words “Beware of forehead beam.”
How to Get
  • Clear Training Grounds Solo Battle: “Dohalim > Ultimate”.

Post-Game Owls Artifacts

Below is a list of obtainable artifacts while collecting post-game Dahnan Owls. This includes their effects, the various work and title that they reference, and how to acquire them in the game.

These last 6 owls can only be unlocked by finding the first 32 owls and talking to the owl king. Continue playing the main story and reach the starting zone of Rena (not Lenegis and other areas outside Dahna). The Owl Forest sub quest will be updated and it will ask you to find the remaining owls.

Description Shield of a legendary maiden of the battlefield, who saved her people from famine and despair. Though small and plain, it exudes an angelic aura.
How to Get
  • Continue and clear Sub-Quest: “The Owl Forest”. 32 Dahnan owls should be found already before heading to Rena starting zone.
Vivid Sphere
  • Region: Calaglia – Iglia Wastes
  • Carry Over Records: Allows you to carry over library entries to a New Game+ after clearing the game.
  • Reference: Katamari Damacy
Description A brilliantly colored sphere, the purpose of which is unknown. Rolling it creates a vacuum no nearby object can escape. Beast leave it be.
How to Get
  • Continue and clear Sub-Quest: “The Owl Forest”. 32 Dahnan owls should be found already before heading to Rena starting zone.
Broken Machine Gun
  • Region: Cyslodia – Riville Prison Tower – Hidden Chamber.
  • Carry Over Money and Items: Allows you to carry over gald and inventory items to a New Game+ after clearing the game.
  • Reference: Baraduke
Description Used to repel hordes of demon-like creatures, this firearm has taken great damage. Taking aim with it makes one to yell “It’s gonna rain lead”.
How to Get
  • Clear Sub Quest: “Culling in the Snowplain Herds”.
  • Clear Sub Quest: “Survey Says…”.
  • Continue and clear Sub-Quest: “The Owl Forest”. 32 Dahnan owls should be found already before heading to Rena starting zone.
Ancient Excavator
  • Region: Menancia – Autelina Palace 2/F – Guard Room.
  • Carry Over Levels: Allows you to carry over the party’s individual levels and stats to a New Game+ after clearing the game.
  • Reference: Mr.DRILLER
Description An artifact thought to have been used in subterranean excavation. Touching it fills one with an extreme urge to dig.
How to Get
  • Continue and clear Sub-Quest: “The Owl Forest”. 32 Dahnan owls should be found already before heading to Rena starting zone.
Metal Miner’s Cap
  • Region 1: Ganath Haros – Tuah Seashore.
  • Region 2: Mahag Saar – Hidden Warf – Uninhabited Island.
  • Region 3: Other – Uninhabited Island.
  • Carry Over Arte Proficiencies: Allows you to carry over arte proficiencies and arte usage counts to a New Game+ after clearing the game.
  • Reference: DIG DUG
Description This hat features the words “MADE FOR MINERS” on its underside. Walking with it results in a curious phenomenon – music playing.
How to Get

Description A golden trident. Its wielder is said to have traveled with the legendary battle maiden.

Description Statue of the round-eyed beast said to be unmatched in cerebral clashes. Its voice has the power to paralyze foes.
How to Get
  • Continue and clear Sub-Quest: “The Owl Forest”. 38 Dahnan owls should be found already.
