Here is a breakdown of the first phase battle strategies against the boss:

Setup strategy to Focus on Healing

Before engaging the boss, set your party strategy to “Focus on Healing”. AI-controlled party members will still deal damage but will change their focus to using healing artes or consuming HP items to recover HP.

Carry HP and CP recovery items

In addition, bring a stock of HP and CP recovery items. These items can be bought from accessible shopkeepers or acquired from normal zeugles as drop items. Include life bottles in your supply and keep CP sustained in order to cast healing artes.

Equip accessories that resist Light Damage and Paralysis status

Furthermore, you can equip characters with accessories that can decrease Light elemental damage and resist Paralysis status. This will help you mitigate damage and decrease the chances of getting affected by the ailment during the boss fight.

Cast Buffs

Start the battle by casting buffs to party members if available. Buffs can be in the form of physical and elemental attack increase (Sharpness and Steel) and interrupt and critical hit chance increase (Concentrate). These buffs can be accessed by Rinwell and Law.

Target Body

Lord Ganabelt Valkyris has no weak spots so focus on attacking the body of the boss. Keep attacking the barrier shield and let Law use his boost attack, Breaker Fist, to pierce through the barrier and destroy it.

Use any artes

Lord Ganabelt Valkyris has no elemental weaknesses as well so feel free to choose any damaging artes. Just make sure you have a diverse set of artes that can deal damage from the ground as well as from the air. Don’t attack all-out and leave room for evasion.

Evade Attacks

While damaging the boss during the first phase, it will unleash its attacks against your party.

Lunge Attack	Once you see the boss raises its arm, evade sideways. Don’t switch to casters and healers since they will be caught off guard by this attack.
Light Beams	Once you see the boss casting, leave the front of the boss or evade sideways. If you get inflicted by Paralysis, use Recover or a Panacea to remove the status.

Activate Boost Attacks

Complement your normal and artes with Boost Attacks. Law’s boost attack is highly effective for this boss phase.

Here is a breakdown of the second phase battle strategies against the boss:

Eliminate Clones

Lord Ganabelt Valkyris will summon four clones during the boss fight. These clones will act as a beacon for the boss’ barrier. Focus on one clone at time in order to break the barrier. Take note that the boss is also channeling a Mystic arte to damage your party. If you cannot clear all the clones on time, just make sure your party is fully healed.

Evade more Attacks

More elemental attacks will be unleashed during the second phase of the boss fight.

Boss Attack	Strategy
Flurry Attack	The boss with make sword hitting stance so evade sideways.
Mine Barrage	Once you see the boss casting, leave the front of the boss or evade sideways. Engage the boss from another position. If you get inflicted by Paralysis, use Recover or a Panacea to remove the status.
Homing Orbs	Once you see the boss casting, leave the front of the boss or evade sideways multiple times. Engage the boss from another position. If you get inflicted by Paralysis, use Recover or a Panacea to remove the status.
Rage Laser	Once you see blue beams hit the ground, dodge immediately to the side to avoid getting it.
Thunder Strikes	Get away from the boss and get some distance. Let the strikes expire before engaging back.
Indignation	Heal and revive fallen allies after the attack immediately.

Activate Boost Attacks

Complement your normal and artes with Boost Attacks. Alphen and Rinwell’s boost attacks are highly effective against the boss.

Blazing Sword: Burning Wave	Make use of Alphen’s “Blazing Sword: Burning Wave” as your initiating Boost attack when it’s available. Not only that it will down the boss, but it will also open you for follow-up boost attacks. In addition, it boosts Alphen damage.
Wing Clip	Utilize Shionne’s “Wing Clip” as follow-up damage to other boost attacks.
