Tales of Arise - How to Unlock Titles

As you go through the main story of Tales of Arise, you can unlock titles for each playable character, allowing them to learn new passive skills, techniques, and artes from the title’s skill panel. Characters become more powerful upon gaining permanent stat boosts and useful abilities so acquiring titles should is a high priority.

To unlock titles, you must satisfy different requirements as you go through the game. These include reaching certain parts of the main story and even achieving certain feats related to mini games and side activities.

Tales of Arise - Learn New Title Skill

Once you have unlocked a title, its skill panel will become available which let you unlock passive skills, techniques, and artes by spending skill points (SP) earned in battle.

Useful skills that permanently increase a character’s stats or raise their maximum artes gauge (AG) can also be learned which are must-haves as you take on tougher foes, especially at the later stages of the game.

Can you reset your skills?

While it has not be confirmed, it is likely that it will be possible to reallocate SP you have spent in case you want to redo your character’s build. More information on this will be added when the game comes out.
